Beth Bartel

Beth humanize science and you might find her interviewing locals near volcanoes or 11,000 feet above sea level in Antarctica. Why does she do it? Beth hopes to figure out how to understand how the earth works and mostly, how to communicate that important science to the people that need it. She’s got two bachelor’s degrees (Spanish/literature & geology) and two master’s degrees (geology/journalism) and she is currently working on her PhD in geology at Michigan Tech University. With her broad knowledge, Beth is ready to problem solve and make the earth safer when it shakes, quakes or erupts!
