As a part of the US Geological Survey, Dr. Clara Yoon uses her expertise in geology and mathematics to help reduce the the damage caused by earthquakes. She has developed computer software and operations that help monitor seismic activity and her research helps to answer questions about how quakes interact with each other. She loves ghost towns, museums in Paris and Hello Kitty!
